An e-commerce platform that’s challenging people to picture coffee differently
We worked with this start-up coffee roaster to establish and build a profitable brand and website.
We wanted everything from the logo to the product pages to support the mission of Frame. Our focus was to highlight the supply chain in a way that reinforced the fact that consumers were buying more than just coffee beans, but rather, joining a story and making an impact with their purchase.
Our designers pushed the boundaries on style with a simple, bright aesthetic. For logo design, we created a kind of ‘anti logo’, a frame with nothing inside of it. This visually represented Frame's mission of being a lens through which the consumer gets to see the full supply chain behind their morning cup of coffee. Coupled with simple typography and a site that heavily features photography, the customer is able to focus on the story and the coffee.
We used Figma as our design platform and built their e-commerce platform utilizing Webflow. While providing less custom capability than our typical sites, this tool was a perfect fit for the Frame team. Webflow allowed us to work quickly alongside the guys at Frame and provides them with the ability to make product updates as their offerings grow.
